Hi, I'm Nachiket.

At Litmus, I imagine and I write.

Nachiket Barve

Tomorrow, if there are no movies in the world, I'll pack my bag, ride my bike to a destination unknown & write a story about a new world with movies.

किसी नेक दिल इंसान ने कहा है, Diary Diary पे लिखा है इस्तेमाल करने वाले का नाम। :) और मेरी diary का शीर्षक है - Story of my life. And if I were to make a movie, I would give it this same title. With Ranbir Kapoor as the actor and maybe Tabu as the actress. How does that look? Surreal. I have become a writer not by fluke not by a stroke of luck, but by compulsion.

Huh? Yes. Read on.

After completing my graduation in Engineering, I moved on to the field that I was meant to be in. The realization had already happened during engineering but the steps started after that. I moved to England to the University of York to further my education in the field of arts. I learnt art direction, the art of storytelling and more there. After coming back from there I spent half a year in the मायानगरी मुंबई & finally came back to the pavilion. Ever since it has been an enriching journey.

So, yes.
I realized that to tell stories visually I have to write them first and this 'have to' become my compulsion for becoming a writer.

During this process, I have made 3-4 short films, music videos, corporate films, documentaries with my friends and I have reimagined the alternate endings of 1-2 movies. For instance, if I was writing the movie 'FAN' I would not let SRK the fan die, but I would rather let SRK the actor die and the FAN would take the place of the hero and experience his challenging life instead. You have to see the movie to understand where I am coming from.

Coming back to the real world, my most lucky stroke at reality would be to actually realize my dream of writing and directing a bollywood movie. I'll get there, I will manifest it. Just like I have, being in Prague. I'll write about that, in some other diary. पढ़ना ज़रूर।

🤫 Sssshhhh...

I would. 8th Grade, Term 2, Math Fail

When do I need validation:

When I am putting an extra effort to be kind to someone or in some situation. And If I am not being well validated, I might stop putting in that extra.
