The client deals in a range of stationery products. The creative challenge before us was to differentiate it not just from other stationary brands but also from their sister brand, DOMS.
The challenge didn’t end there. In the corporate world, where everyone appears to be going gaga over “eco-friendly” and ‘go-green’ campaigns, this client wanted to downplay the eco-friendliness of their stationery which is wood-free and made from graphite. Instead they wanted to play on another, less talked-about attribute.
Our market research revealed that consumers liked stationery items in dark colours and vibrant colours. The strategy worked. The client loved our work and later assigned us to work on their Corporate Identity and Packaging Design, as well.
