The stalwart branding collaboration with their mentor IIMB and the iconic IIMU fostered our partnership with IIM Visakhapatnam. This experience helped us in the design-thinking tactics during this project. As IIMV became a luminary national character with their journey alongside the young minds from 19 states and union territories, we had to expand the same euphoria in their brand identity.
The top challenge was to distinguish IIMV’s identity from other members of IIM family and give it a young character. We composed a creative concept for IIMV’s brochure that commingled with its excellent two-year journey and future-vision. Every aspect of the institute was weaved with each designing element of the brochure. It was highly admired by the institute.
Our studio brainstormed a word cloud that popped with city’s attractions to create a dawning identity of IIM Visakhapatnam. Visakhapatnam is the jewel of the east coast and is famous for majestic beaches; hence, natural elements were integrated with the logo identity. We also delved into Sanskrit verses for finding an apropos tagline and everything blended with a beautiful concept by our creative writing team. After the new identity got an overwhelming response, it was time to multiply. Students, Employees or corporate, every stakeholder got their share of IIMV’s association in branded merchandise. From a pen to the presentation everything read IIMV.
Our partnership with IIMV is a prolific alliance that we can always be proud of. Our unique approach to its branding has applauded the efforts and IIMV’s overall identity today reflects their values, prowess and their interest in nation-building. It distinctly stands out in the IIM family as a youth icon that only moves forward.
